MINIATURE PAINTING

Miniatures paintings are beautiful handmade paintings, which are quite colorful but small in size. The highlight of these paintings is the intricate and delicate brushwork, which lends them a unique identity. The colors are handmade, from minerals, vegetables, precious stones, indigo, conch shells, pure gold and silver. The most common theme of the Miniature painting of India comprises of the Ragas i.e., the musical codes of Indian classical music. There were a number of miniature schools in the country, including those of Mughals, Rajputs and the Deccan.                      The evolution of Indian Miniatures paintings started in the Western Himalayas, around the 17th century. These paintings were highly influenced by the mural paintings that originated during the later half of the 18th century. During the time of the Mughals, Muslim kings of the Deccan and Malwa as well as the Hindu Rajas of Rajasthan, this art flourished to quite an extent. Infact, the Mughals were responsible for introducing Persian tradition in the Miniature paintings of India.

GOPAL had done hard work to make this art on the next level and do many innovations in this art by the dedication , hard work and deep research to extend and to make it more fine that the work which was not done in last many decades  . he had continued his research for the next 15 years and made many mile stone paintings which was not made before by any miniature artist he made his own subjects he try to innovate this art in his own style by mixing all the schools together .

there is...various schools ( styles ) of making miniature paintings from last many hundreds of years . ...

kangra school
mughal school
rajasthani school
pahari school
bundi school
kishangarh school  etc .

Many artists at that period doing work , making paintings in these schools .
but every artist can make paintings in only one or two or three schools but Artist gopal prasad sharma  the only person who had made paintings in all these schools separately which was an achievement itself . then after doing very much in all schools gopal had started innovations to make this art more stylish by mixing all schools in a single miniature painting , and that is the thing make him different and he able to make his own school ( style ) in miniature paintings that was JAIPURI school , later on many new artists copy GOPAL SHARMA'S work and style and also copy the imaginary paintings which GOPAL made by his imagination .
